Where's the affordable "for non-commercial usage" license of Hypershot?: I'm no longer a student, and I'm just a hobbyist 3D modeler: I can't afford Hypershot - (Read 242 Times)

Hi,

I'm a hobbyist in making 2D/3D artworks, and I enjoy painting digital pictures or modeling things in 3D: for these purposes there are affordable and efficient solutions (Blender!, Gimp!, Inkscape!, Alchemy, ArtRage, Painter, Vue, Silo, 3D-Coat, ZBrush 2nd-hand license, etc...).

I'm interested in learning new techniques and workflows, and I watched the Gnomon Workshop recent DVD "Robot Design". In this DVD, I discovered a new piece of software that seemed reallllllly terrrrrrificcccc: its name is... Hypershot! Smiley

I would be very pleased to use Hypershot in my future projects, but, as a matter of fact, it's not possible because I just can't afford to buy the $995 license of Hypershot! This license is way tooooooooo expensive for hobbyist 2D/3D artists Smiley

I think the Bunkspeed online store misses one very-important feature: the possibility to buy an affordable license of Hypershot, a license for non-commercial uses, and for people who are no longer students.

Please, could you think about offering an affordable license of Hypershot, for the artists who just want to create beautiful pictures, and who don't make profit with their pictures.

I want to buy Hypershot, and I would be very pleased to be counted among the owners and users of Hypershot Smiley

Thank you very much for reading.

Interesting thought. They used to have a $200 version with a very limited res, not sure what happened to it. I thought about getting that one for home too.

I'm thinking the max res was 800x600. Not bad for a hobby.

800 by 450, or 360,000 pixels max resolution.

now that wide monitors become more popular everyday, 800x450 seems to be a pretty small resolution, even for hobbyist artists. I don't work with such resolutions anymore.

Actually, I really would like to enjoy using a full Hypershot HD license (for personal non-profit purposes only!), but, as a hobbyist 2D/3D artist, and as I previously said, I find no relevant option for hobbyist artists, in the Bunkspeed online store.

Bunkspeed, be sure that my money's ready for this hypothetic and affordable "for non-commercial use" license of HyperShot HD Smiley

Thanks for reading.
